Re: furry costume - laundry care?
Thu, September 10, 2009 - 10:31 PMthe dryer is ok, as long as you use the AIR DRY setting (no heat!) Actually, I think air dry in the dryer revives my fur better than line drying ... -

Re: furry costume - laundry care?
Mon, September 14, 2009 - 7:48 AMI put them in a delicates bag or a very worn pillowcase. The water and soap can circulate, but the fur doesn't get wrapped around the agitator. I use woolite and a half cup of vinegar. I then hang dry them, and fluff afterwards with a comb if needed. -

Re: furry costume - laundry care?
Mon, September 14, 2009 - 12:04 PMyes, a laundry bag is a good idea, only necessary if you are using a machine with an agitator, if you are using a tumble-front-loader, you don't need it.
Hang, block, fluff, shake, and let air dry. Synthetics take just a few hours, but do it a least a day before you want to wear it.
