Dang, too bad I got an endometrial ablation and don't have periods. Well, ok, not really, but it IS interesting, and yay for our bodies healing themselves (with a little help). -

Remove any bacteria that somehow got in there, that shouldn't belong.

wow. and considering how painful bone marrow transplant is supposed to be I'd say the menstrual blood option looks a lot better.
it makes sense to me when I think about it. I mean that blood is intended to help support an entire other life, so it must be very rich. which would be helpful in healing organs.

Tue, May 13, 2008 - 12:26 AMHaving taken classes in animal development I understand what they are talking about, however until this study is duplicated I would not put to much faith in it. I am curious to know why they are only extracting the precursors to heart cells though, they should have been able to get other kinds of cells, but maybe they only concentrated on one....
