Hello lovely ladies, I am moving to Tucson, Arizona in Jan. for about 5 or 6 months, and I'm looking for some people to connect with. I live in LA and skate roller derby. I have met several of the women in the Tucson league that are wonderful. I know that roller derby leagues are always looking for skaters and/or volunteers. Roller Derby was how I met my female friends when I moved to LA. I also suspect there may be some overlap with the burning man community I know there is in my league. Leaving Sierra Vista and AZ 8 years ago to move to the midwest was heartbreaking and the AZ community was already great then. It's just gotten better. There is so much to do and it's just small enough that you get to know everyone really well. And it's true, Gigi's the best!

fortunately we have many events all year long here... and because our burner population is smaller here you can pretty much get to know most of the Burners in the State by going to our events and parties :-) -
