Wed, August 3, 2005 - 8:14 AMhi :) my only concerns would be 1) is there enough padding on the soles to romp around in all the time without getting sore feet 2) the playa dust will turn the black color greyish white and it probably won't come out. otherwise i think they are great. i just went through the same thing with the boots, retrodiva.com also has a lot of great boots. i opted for comfort over fashion, so i didn't get the five inch platform heel boots, i got the three inch platform flat boots. i run around and dance so much the last thing i want is my feet to hurt.

Wed, August 3, 2005 - 8:55 AMi think they're great looking, but my 2 cents is that you'll go insane having to lace those up everytime you go in and out of a tent. think about not just your own tent, but when you go to visit others. if it's cold or rainy, how long will it take you to stand outside and unlace/lace those up? -

Wed, August 3, 2005 - 3:51 PMI recommend that you trace the boot on paper while youre wearing it, to make a template of how much tape you will need to you dont get someon the part of the shoe that shows, which will look like crap, and of course, bring that roll of tape to the playa.

and believe it or not they are comfy as can be (and they zip up the side for easy access). plus they make me freakishly tall. all in all 2 thumbs up for these for nighttime playa wear (too hot for daytime unless they are all that i'm wearing)
