looking for fabric sources

I'm tired of Jo-ann, etc.
I've been looking near and far in Portland with little luck

Are there any websites or places in the Portland/Seattle area that has some interesting fabric.

Have you tried the Mill End stores? I got some killer stuff at Fabric Depot last month. Also, you could try thrifting and buy cheap crap made out of fabric you think has potential and change it.

And JoAnn is expensive comparitively. A few Walmart's still have fabric here & we have a few other outlets that are local. I've had luck at the local thrifts. Especially good is the one for the hospice. The patients leave things for the charity & it's a great cause. I'd rather support them than some giant CEO of Goodwill pulling a six figure salary anyway.
