We have a small private weekend event down here in SD called Fool's Paradise!


Leaving work at noon tomorrow to head out. My honey will be there already... He's going out tonight!

I'm having a bad week. A big fight with a friend who's now ignoring me, almost got another friend in trouble with her boss (he reads tribe too...oops), PMS mood swings that I'm not used to yet since I never had them before a few months ago...

I know the weekend doesn't really solve anything, and I'm not usually a TGIF kind of person, but DAMN it won't come soon enough this time.



But...I got an AWESOME new tattoo last week! It's gorgeous!! Can't wait to add on to it!

I'm having a strange week too. Must be taxes. Even my Sign Language horoscope gave me fair warning. If you wanna read a horoscope that'll be spooky accurate most of the time, make a habit of reading Caeriel Sign Language each Wednesday.

erm. and i've been quiet, because i'm always mostly quiet on tribe, but my thesis is due tomorrow so i've been cracking down on that hard core. but! almost done! it's very exciting.

Just had Pixie in town doing photo shoots all weekend... talk about an amazing woman!

Going to NYC to film a dance dvd this weekend!!!

Then jumping on a plane for Barcelona and then Paris!!

Then jumping on a plane for Tribal Fest!!

Then hitting one of our regional burns to kick off the season... either PDF or Wicker man.....

Then.... sigh... it's summer time.....

This weekend is Marley Fest. Generally any Austin muzak event is good, as long as our wonderful Governor Perry isn't present.

I'm headed to Interfuse in a couple of weeks, the Midwest Burners regional event. I'm SOO excited!!

Also I found out that two of my exes got engaged this week. Crazy...

the past 10 days:
work... sick... taxes... sick... I think there was some more work in there... oh, and lovely computer problems of the "plague of locusts" kind... sick...

Yes...tis deader and stiller than the most dead and still london after midnight night.
Last couple weeks...moved into a new apartment, moved out in four days cuz one of the roommates was a crack head, worked, moved in with my boyfriend, worked, looking for a new place to live, worked, work work work, dance in sun, work, work.
I'm getting excited about....
some music in the GG park on Sunday, and the Goa Gil memorial day weekend party ^_^

What am I excited about...

Well, until today, I haven't been excited about much. PDF is coming up and I've been trying to muster up enough enthusiam to make it rock hard.

I was trying to be enthusiastic about Transformus, but with all the scandle and hooopla that was a challenge as well.

And as I was sitting at my desk today, trying to muster up even enough strength to make it through the rest of the day without crying (I've been stuck at a crappy temp job since January appealing the Peace Corps decisison to medically deny me).........

.....I got a call from my Peace Corps placement officer. And it's OFFICIAL: We're leaving for Africa July 14th!!!!! After 17 MONTHS of planning, applying, medical exams, letters, appeals, etc we are FiNALLY going to Africa.

Now THAT is something to get excited about!!!
