Actually, when reading it, it says "She has all sorts of goodies". Also, a key word being "if". Since she has provided for the community and is doing so again, why is it frowned upon to ask if others would like to contribute to that community tray?

On the playa, I like going to The Petting Zoo. I appreciate their set up and what they provide. Because I like it, I gift a couple bottles of booze and mixers to gift back to the community. We all know what it's like when things start running out near the end of the week! Signs go up for trade and or left overs in some places. "If" you want to contribute chapstick,cigarettes, whatever, does not fall under the catagorey of "raising money for their trip to the playa"
