Uh huh! that is the name of this $2.00 bargin book I picked up at my favorite bookstore.

Sex and Bacon, why I love things that are very, very bad for me. by Sarah Katherine Lewis. apparently she's quite well known in the Seattle and Portland areas,

the book is Raw, filled with lusty sex and cooking tips... I thought, how "burningman" this title sounds.... so I snatched it (giggle) what the hell, it was only $2.00

reading this I have laughed, and even cried a little, I have thought OH HELL NO! and moments later thought OH HELL YEAH!.

some of you beautiful burning women have come to mind, and I truly believe some of ya may enjoy this piece of "literary works" <grin>

so, here's my proposal, when I'm finished with it, if there is someone that wants it, send me your address and I'll mail it to you, we could pass it around, might be fun, maybe not.... you decide...

here's the website www.sexandbacon.com/

I can tell you, I have enjoyed most of it. certainly not all of it. but it's a raw, naughty, fun read..

let me know if you're interested, I'll mail it to ya.....

I also want. Although I am willing to wait until everyone who really wants to read it has.

I think we should add other books. I don't own any funny books, but I have a few wild plant life books that tell you how to identify edible/poisonous things I would feel comfortable contributing. Including a book on mushrooms.

I've got the second book for the Burning Woman Book Club:

"Breathers: A Zombie's Lament" by Scott G. Browne, a/k/a Cake on the Playa. It's due to be released next month and there's a lot of buzz already. I'm planning on buying a few copies to support my friend, so I'll gladly put em in circulation as book #2.

        Here's a link for a preview: issuu.com/crown-publish...thers-chapter1

        Blysse out.

Haha, I love her writing! Especially when she mentions the "Bacon Quotient" and how she finally had Enough Bacon. ;P

it's fun to know that a tiny book can be so much fun shared with so many incredible women. and especially so, for the ones that enjoy SEX and Bacon, or Just the Sex, or just the bacon, or any combination thereof... LOL!!

it was a fun read, and its even more fun to know its making its way around thw world....

I found my bacon quotient in college. They had chaffing dishes full of crispy bacon at my house at Smith on weekends, and I'd stagger in after a night of partying like a rock star and munch thru plate after plate after plate. It's somewhere around 30 pieces or so, although it varied by exactly HOW hard I had partied the night before. And I can consume more of it if its properly cooked, i.e. completely crispy and rendered but not yet scorched. Otherwise, the rubbery texture would drive me away after only a couple of pieces.

And not only did I find my bacon quotient, I also liberally applied it to my ass. I was a chubby collegian!

Just finished reading it, sorry can't pass it along, it's in the San Mateo County Library system. Probably not a choice I would have made without knowing who it was written by, however I did enjoy the read and his style of humor. Especially interesting picturing it in Santa Cruz area and up Hwy 1.

Just finished the book. What fun! As a card-carrying member of the Sensual Wanton club, it's a delight to read the words of another card-carrying member. I especially wallowed in her 4-chapter ode to heartbreak and, by the end, found that it was quite long enough, thank you!

Lessons. Lessons. It's all about the lessons.

Thank you, Bare! What a find. This was really a treat.

OK, who's next? Annika? Just send me a private message with your address and I'll have this out to you as quickly as it takes packages to get to New Zealand.

Yay! Sex AND bacon. What more could a Burning Woman want?

Oh, and the funniest little anecdotal TMI tidbit is that, just as I was turning to The Purple Guy for some relief after reading about all the sucking and licking and fisting and fucking and so forth, he gave a couple of vibratey burps and then gave up the ghost altogether.

So, I am a little dancy right now, and probably will be until the the on-line sex toy shop delivers my new Battery Operated Boyfriend. He's red, not purple, with the cutest little clear jelly bunny ears.

Just say "YES" to moving on, to clearing lives of Purple Guys. Woo-hoo!!!

Ahhh Yes! been there a time or two, sent the damn purple guy flying across the room , and as it hit the wall the entire thing broke apart, batteries flying, it's a certain bitch when even the fucking toys give up too soon.... LOL!!! but, I have found the sweetest wee bullet, quiet and most effective.

        Love ya Blysse...

Love right back at ya lady!

The other day I was having some more of the spaghetti sauce I made based off the recipe in the book and it made me smile to think about how I came by the recipe and how the book was traveling everywhere. :-)
